Firefox 4 bigger than IE 9

Mozilla's Firefox 4's browser usage share grew over two and  a half times in the six days since its March 22 launch, a web analytics company said today.

According to California-based Net Applications, Firefox 4 accounted for 3.7% of all browsers used Sunday, up from last Tuesday's 1.4%.
Firefox 4's Sunday share was double that of Microsoft's newest browser, Internet Explorer 9 (IE9), which was released March 14.

Overall Firefox have lost 2.5% of their users, and IE 4.8%, while Chrome have increased their users with 5.3% the last year. Apple Safari have increased with 1.9% in one year.

  17. I guess I'm not the only chrome-lover here. It changed the way I use the internet. Explorer is like a dinosaur: heavy and inefficient and obsolete, and now on the verge of extinction.

  20. I'm not really surprised. IE blew its chance in the browser wars a long time ago. 9 seems like a solid release but I think the damage has already been done.
